Dr. Andrew Parker is a native Texan and is beginning his first year on the University of West Alabama Sports Medicine Staff. He attended Texas A&M University for undergrad, and spent the last decade completing his medical school and training in Houston, Texas at Baylor. He is currently training as an Orthopedic Surgery Sports Medicine Fellow at the American Sports Medicine Institute (ASMI) in Birmingham under the leadership of Drs. Andrews, Cain, Dugas and Emblom. In addition to his professional pursuits, Dr. Parker enjoys spending time with his family (wife, two kids and two dogs), playing guitar, and traveling.
