Jamie Hibbert, MS, ATC, CSCS, CESJamie is in her second year as a member of The University of West Alabama Athletic Training and Sports Medicine Staff.  She completed her Master’s Degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion with a concentration in Rehabilitation Science from California University of Pennsylvania in December 2009.  Her primary responsibility is to implement an athletic training outreach program to the secondary schools within the UWA service area.  The program aims to improve the evaluation, treatment, management, rehabilitation, and referral of injuries and illnesses by working with administrators, coaches and local health care providers to increase the level and availability of athletic training services within the schools.

Jamie earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Boston University.  While at BU she was afforded the opportunity to complete clinical experiences at BU, Bentley College, Tufts University, and Pine Manor College.  She also had the opportunity to intern with the Boston Cannons Lacrosse Team.  After graduation, Jamie was employed by The Andrews Institute in Gulf Breeze, FL as an athletic trainer with primary responsibilities at Jay High School.

Jamie is married to Keith Hibbert.  She enjoys cycling, playing racquetball and doing crossword puzzles.
