 Kyle
Sampsell begins his fourth year on The University of West Alabama Athletic
Training and Sports Medicine staff. After serving two years as a Graduate
Assistant and completing his master's degree, Kyle was promoted to Assistant
Athletic Trainer/Instructor. Kyle's primary athletic responsibilities are Men's
and Women's Basketball and
is responsible for
teaching courses in the CAATE accredited athletic training education program.
He also serves as the faculty sponsor of the Sports Medicine Club.
Kyle received his
B.S. in Athletic Training from Troy University in 2006. While a student at
Troy, Kyle worked with rodeo, softball, and football. He is an active member of
Iota Tau Alpha Athletic Training Honor Society.
Kyle worked with
the Birmingham Bulls Hockey Club in the 2000 and 2001 seasons. He also worked
with the Birmingham Steeldogs Arena Football Team from 2000 to 2005.
In his free time,
Kyle enjoys golf and racquetball.
