Patient needs to be in a comfortable position,

sitting or standing |

The examiner needs to be anterior to (in front
of) the patient |

Performing the Test |
Resist the patient in ROM of the neck
including flexion, extension, and lateral flexion (left & right).
Also resist shoulder shrugging. |

Do not have the patient rotate head. Also,
