2009 NATA Golf Scramble Hosted by District 6
The Republic Golf Course
Wednesday, June 17
11:30 AM Registration
12:30 PM Shot Gun Start

Each team will be composed of four people($100.00/person), and mulligans can be purchased for $5 each (max of four per team). No golfer will leave the tournament empty handed, thanks to District Six.  Participants will receive a golfing goodie bag, 18 holes of golf with a cart, range ball, a box lunch and on course beverage service.  Awards go to the top three teams, plus the longest drive and closet-to-the-pin winners.  Door prizes, raffles and a silent auction will guarantee that even if your golf game needs a little work, you may still come home with some great loot!

Multiple sponsorship opportunities are available for the golf tournament.  For just $100 you can sponsor the longest drive contest, the
closet-to-the-pin contest or a goodie bag.  All three options come with free signage at the tournament.  (Honor a friend or mentor by sponsoring in his/her name.)

A little more money - $250, to be exact - buys a hole or lunch sponsorship.  Sponsoring a hole comes with free signage on the golf course, while the lunch sponsorship is a accompanied by free signage at the registration table.  You can even sponsor a door prize.

For more information on sponsorships or to register for the tourney, contact Sandy Miller, MEd, ATC, at
smiller@sfasu.edu

Proceeds will benefit the NATA Research & Education Foundation.

Foundation Capital Campaign Update
34 Endowments Already in Place

^

As the spring season is upon us, the NATA Annual meeting is less than three months away.  I would like to provide an update on the Capital Campaign for Research and Education.  As of the time of this eBlast, we have eclipsed 1.3 million dollars on our way to meet our 2 million dollar goal.  If you are still considering your involvement in the Campaign, I encourage you to click HERE where you will find a complete list of the endowment efforts currently accepting funds.  This Campaign has not only helped the Foundation build its capacity to carry out our mission of enhancing the clinical practice of athletic training through research and education but it has provided opportunities for countless individuals to get involved in supporting our profession.  I look forward to visiting and celebrating with many of you the success of this Campaign in San Antonio.
