should
recognize
the

principles
will
make the

We are pleased to report that the NATA Foundation’s Winner’s Circle has been a big success since launching a few months ago. The program’s monthly feature in the NATA News is a must read - recognizing past grant recipients and scholarship winners and their accomplishments that were made possible thanks to financial assistance from the NATA Foundation. If you are a former NATA Foundation scholarship recipient or grant award winner, we hope you’ll join your peers in the NATA Foundation’s Winners’ Circle to help illustrate the importance of giving back to the profession and how every dollar received helps improve the clinical practice of athletic training. Joining is easy! Simply visit www.natafoundation.org/awards/winners-circle for more information.

If your college/university’s athletic training student club is interested in participating in a meaningful activity that makes them part of a grassroots fundraising effort designed to generate funds critical to advancing their future profession, the 2014 Athletic Training Student Challenge is a great option!
All college/university athletic training student groups are invited to compete. Program Directors will issue the challenge to their respective student leaders. The groups will then organize and implement fundraising campaigns during the Spring 2014 semester.
As an ATSC participant, your school’s donation can be made to the 2014 Annual Fund, to help the NATA Foundation with important initiatives like the research and scholarship programs. Or your school can elect to designate its donation for one of our NATA Foundation research or scholarship endowments that hasn’t yet been fully funded. Not only will this help the endowment get closer to completion, the student club will be part of history by contributing to a research or scholarship that will be granted in perpetuity.
To learn more or to sign up for the Challenge, please visit

Forget the Starbucks gift card or bottle of wine. This holiday, give the special people in your life a gift that will help advance the profession of athletic training (long after the caffeine buzz has worn off)!
For a minimum donation of $10 per recipient, the individual(s) you designate will receive a personalized holiday card from the NATA Foundation to let them know of the thoughtful gift you have made in their honor. We do not disclose the donation amount.
To finish your holiday shopping early, visit the NATA Foundation website where you can complete your gift 24/7. For multiple gifts, please list additional names in the “Comments” section of the form.

Shoe
Box
Society
for
Planned
Giving |
^ |
|
|
The Shoe Box Society for Planned Giving is designed to honor those who utilize estate planning to support the mission of the NATA Foundation. These commitments hearken back to the visionaries who founded NATA in Kansas City in 1950. Those pioneers undoubtedly knew their efforts would benefit all who would follow them in the profession much more than themselves. Please consider becoming a member of the shoe Box Society.

NATA
Foundation
"Triple
D"
Challenge |
^ |
|
|
It is the time of year again - NATA membership renewal. And while you’re paying your dues, take a minute to make your annual donation to the NATA Foundation while you’re at it! It might just help your district take top honors in our “Triple D” Challenge!
The Challenge is our way of trying to DOUBLE the number of NATA members who give back to their profession. Currently, fewer than 5% of members give back to the profession. We want to DOUBLE that number between now and the NATA Annual Meeting. We’re confident we can do it with YOUR help! Think about it - if each of the association’s 40,000 members would add $10 onto their dues this year, the NATA Foundation would have an additional $400,000 to fund a number of new programs that directly benefit every single athletic trainer - regardless of work setting.
So which district will come out on top? Make your donation and help us spread the word! And remember - every dollar counts!
