Holiday
Gift
Guide:
The Gift
that
Gives
Back |
^ |
|
|
Looking
for the
perfect
gift for
that
hard-to-shop-for
colleague
or the
physician
who has
everything? As
the
holiday
season
approaches,
the NATA
Research
&
Education
Foundation
would
like you
to
consider
honoring
the
special
people
in your
life
with a
gift
that
will
help
advance
the
profession
and make
sports
safer
for
athletes
at all
levels. For a
suggested
minimum
donation
of $10
per
recipient,
the individual(s)
you
designate
will
receive
a
personalized
holiday
card
from the
NATA
Foundation
acknowledging
that a
gift has
been
made in
their
honor. The card
will
include
both the
giver
and the
recipient’s
names,
but the
amount
of the
donation
will not
be
included
unless
specifically
requested.

The 2013 Athletic
Training
Student
Challenge
is
kicking
off now
to offer
college/university
athletic
training
clubs a
unique
opportunity
to
support
the NATA
Foundation
through
fundraising
efforts
to help
our
organization
meet its
goals.
This
year, in
addition
to
raising
money
for the
Annual
Fund,
schools
may
elect to
designate
their
donation
to go
directly
to one
of our NATA
Foundation
research
or
scholarship
endowments.
Not only
will
this
help the
endowment
get
closer
to
completion,
the
student
club
will be
part of
history
by
contributing
to a
research
or
scholarship
that
will be
granted
in
perpetuity.
In
addition
to
recognizing
the top
contributor,
we will
give
three
awards
in 2013
-
First
Place:
Highest
Overall
Contribution
to the
Annual
Fund;
Highest
Overall
Contribution
to an
Endowment
and
Highest
Contribution
from a
First-Time
Participant.

Consider
joining
the Shoe

Society
for
Planned
Giving.
Planned
gifts
take
into
account
a
donor’s
financial,
family,
business
and
estate
considerations.
These
gifts
can take
many
forms.
Planned
giving
techniques
can
significantly
reduce

allowing
donors
to
benefit
the NATA

while
realizing
impressive
tax

for
