Jeremie Axe, M.D.Dr. Jeremie M. Axe is a native of Delaware and is beginning his first year on The University of West Alabama Sports Medicine Staff.  As an undergraduate, he attended the University of Delaware, Newark, DE, graduated from Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, PA, and completed a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Tufts Medical Center, Boston, MA.  He is currently training as a Orthopaedic Surgery Sports Medicine Fellow at the American Sports Medicine Institute (ASMI) in Birmingham under the leadership of Drs. Andrews, Cain, Dugas, and Emblom.  At the completion of this year, he will undergo further training as a Harvard Shoulder/Elbow Fellow and eventually join his father's orthopaedic practice in Delaware in September of 2015.  In addition to his professional pursuits, Dr. Axe enjoys football, baseball, lacrosse, and golf.
