Wendy Zimmerer is a first-year Intern Athletic Trainer at UWA. Wendy will serve as the athletic trainer for UWA’s Men's & Women's Rodeo.  In May of 2022, Wendy earned her B.S. in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University. In May of 2024 she earned her M.S. in Athletic Training from Texas A&M University where she worked with football, basketball, softball, a local high school, and local rodeos. Wendy is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
