Dr. Kevin Myers is a native Texan and is beginning his first year on the University of West Alabama Sports Medicine Staff.  As an undergraduate, he attended Rice University, graduated from the University of Texas – San Antonio medical school, and completed residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at North Shore – LIJ in New York.  He is currently training as an Orthopaedic Surgery Sports Medicine Fellow at the American Sports Medicine Institute (ASMI) in Birmingham under the leadership of Drs. Andrews, Cain, Dugas, and Emblom.  In addition to his professional pursuits, Dr. Myers enjoys basketball, skiing, and spending time with his wife and son.
