Mary Spengler, ATC
Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer

Mary Spengler, ATCMary Spengler is in her second year as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at UWA.  She is pursuing a Master’s of Science in Physical Education with an Athletic Training concentration.  In May of 2020, Mary graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training.  During her time at Cincinnati, she worked with their NCAA Division I women’s lacrosse, men’s soccer and football programs.  Along with the UC athletic programs, she was also an athletic training student at several local high schools in the Cincinnati Area.  As a senior in the program, Mary completed her semester long immersive internship with the Vanderbilt Commodores football program.  In her first year at UWA, Mary was the athletic trainer for the cross country and track and field teams.  During her second year, she will be serving as the athletic trainer for the UWA volleyball team.

Mary earned her national certification as an athletic trainer in 2020.  She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
