Dr. Leonardo Taarea is originally from Enterprise, AL by way of Jakarta, Indonesia.  He attended the University of Alabama where he received a bachelors and master's degree in Biology.  He then attended Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school. He then completed Family Medicine residency at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC.  He is currently training as a Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellow under the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, AL under the leadership of Dr. Jose Ortega.  In addition to his professional endeavors, Dr. Taarea enjoys traveling, spending time with his dog Achilles, and other outdoor activities.
