Yoshi Takeyama, D.O.

Yoshi Takeyama, D.O.Dr. Yoshi Takeyama is originally from Long Island, New York. He received his B.S. degree in Bioengineering from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania and matriculated to New York Institute of Technology-COM for medical school. He then completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Stony Brook University and is now completing his fellowship training in Primary Care Sports Medicine at the American Sports Medicine Institute (ASMI) in Birmingham, Alabama under the leadership of Drs. Ortega, Casey, and Colberg.  Dr. Takeyama is looking forward to working with the sports teams and athletic training staff at University of West Alabama.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Dr. Takeyama enjoys playing golf, basketball, fishing, and spending time with his wife, son, and their 2 cats.  s originally from
