Dataysha Thomas is a first-year graduate assistant at UWA. She will serve as the Athletic Trainer for Women’s Basketball. She is currently pursuing her M.S. in Physical Education with a concentration in Athletic Training. Dataysha obtained her B.S. in Athletic Training from The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL in May 2024. While there, she worked with basketball, football, swimming & diving, track and field, cross country, and a local high school. She also gained additional experience by completing an immersion with The University of Florida’s women’s basketball team over the summer. Dataysha is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
