Amanda Compton, ATC
Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer

Amanda Compton, ATCAmanda graduated from The University of Georgia, a CAATE accredited program, in May 2016 with a B.S. in Athletic Training.  During her time at Georgia, Amanda worked with a local high school, where she gained experience working with wrestling, basketball, track, baseball, and soccer.  She also worked with Georgia’s gymnastic team, football team, and swim and dive team.  Several of the athletes she has worked with over the past two years will be competing in the Summer 2016 Olympics.  Her first year at UWA she worked as the Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Volleyball team in the fall and Track and Field in the Spring.  This year she will be working as the Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the football team.  She will graduate this May with a Masters in Sport Psychology.
