Valerie
began her college career at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, FL where she
graduated in May of 2014 with an A.A in Exercise and Sports Science. She
then pursued her Bachelors at Trinity International University in Deerfield,
IL where she also played three years as a NAIA Collegiate Softball Player.
Valerie graduated this past May 2017 with her B.S in Athletic Training and
minor in Fitness. During her time at Trinity, she worked with the college’s
football, men and women’s basketball, men and women’s soccer, baseball, and
volleyball team. She also had the privilege to work with a local high
school and gained experience with indoor track, swimming, diving, wrestling,
and gymnastics. Valerie also interned with Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic,
Barrington Orthopedic Specialists, and Deep Impact Performance Training.
She also volunteered at the Chicago Marathon in both 2015 and 2016. Valerie
worked as the Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for Cross Country, Track, and
Triathlon during her first year and at UWA and begins her second year this
fall.
