Amanda Shaw, MS, ATC
Athletic Trainer/ Instructor

Amanda Snow, ATCAmanda Shaw is set to begin her third year at UWA as an Athletic Trainer/ Instructor with her primary responsibility coordinating the high school outreach program. Previously, she spent two years at UWA as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the high school outreach program. Amanda’s primary teaching responsibilities include freshman clinical along with taping and bracing. Amanda graduated from UWA with her M.S. in Physical Education in 2018 and graduated with her undergraduate degree in May of 2016 from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, TN. Amanda was a member of the LMU softball team and a resident assistant during her time in undergrad. She has experience with many varsity sports including men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball, baseball, and men’s lacrosse. She also has experience with high school sports as well. Amanda is originally from Knoxville, TN and is very eager to continue to work with all of the high schools in the UWA service area. She resides in Livingston with her husband, David.
